Testimonials
Vicki was the most amazing, caring midwife. I went into labour the same day my husband lost his father. It was an incredibly emotional time for us and we were both feeling extremely fragile. Vicki was by our side the entire labour. We never felt rushed, stressed or pressured. Our little girl came into the world at her own time and I just remember having my eyes closed feeling strangely calm with Vicki's reassuring voice in my ear. Beyond having years of experience, Vicki also has that special quality where you believe youre the only person who matters in that moment. When the birth got tough she gently reminded me to stay present, relax and listen to my body. I never understood women who found labour a wonderful experience and while I may not go so far and use that word it was an empowering and positive. We were so grateful to have Vicki help deliver our little girl. Thank you Vicki.

Being pregnant in the midst of a global pandemic is less than ideal; but every cloud has a silver lining and one of ours was meeting Vicki.
We were so lucky to have a one on one antenatal class with Vicki. Her knowledge and experience is incredible, her advice is practical and her support invaluable. One of my greatest take aways from our one of one class was the confidence she instilled in me to give birth to our baby.
Our little one was breech so we ended up with a caesarean- or ‘vaginal by-pass’. Getting a text from Vicki the night before my surgery letting me know that she would be in the operating room with us meant the world to me. Seeing her face on the day immediately calmed me, I knew we were all in incredibly safe hands. We were even more lucky to remain in Vicki’s safe hands post-op.
We feel incredibly fortunate to have met Vicki and have her be part of our village for our son, Finn. Thank you will never be enough.
Honestly, thank you for all that you did for us. I had such a positive birth experience because of you. Sometimes I don’t think midwives fully appreciate the impact they have on new mums lives, but your kindness, guidance and Vicki-isms will always be with me.

Dearest Vicki,
Thank you so much for all the kindness, attention, patience (with my difficult veins particularly!) and care you have shown me and the boys in this pregnancy.
You have been like a surrogate mum to me and held my hand every step of the way through what was at times a stressful and scary pregnancy for me. It was only fitting that you were the one there for me for my post birth shower really.
I wouldn't have wanted to do this pregnancy without our regular infusion of life chats and I am so glad I didn't have to. Hugo, Max & I are forever indebted to you and we hope we get to see you whenever you feel like a cuddle, chat and coffee.
Please don't stop being a midwife any time soon - you were born to do this and mums like me need you.
